Where are your products made?
The garments within our children’s and women’s collections are made with love by artisans in an eco-friendly factory in Portugal. For accessories and limited edition items, we take great care in partnering with artisans and suppliers all around the world who value sustainability and ethical business practices as much as we do. What is the GOTS Certification?

Earning the esteemed GOTS certification means that our GOTS labelled garments are not only organic but they are certified organic.

GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard and is recognized as the highest worldwide standard for the processing of organic fibers. It comprehensively covers the entire textile chain—from the sustainable, ethical harvesting of organically grown plants through eco-friendly and socially responsible manufacturing and labeling practices. What is the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification?

This premium certification ensures that a completed product—which might include dyes, linings, thread, buttons, and other accessories—is free of harmful chemicals and is safe for human use.

This certification involves:
• A global standard
• Voluntary participation
• Annual review of criteria
• Independent, third party testing to verify that each product is free of damaging levels of over 100 substances known to be dangerous to human health. This testing takes into account all the ways these substances might enter a body, from direct skin contact to inhalation of fumes.

With so many toxins and harsh, unnecessary chemicals hiding out in mainstream apparel, we are devoted to helping keep your children’s wardrobe free from anything you wouldn’t want touching their delicate skin.

What is the fit of your garments like?

All of our garments are designed with the most comfortable fit possible and are meant to grow with your child so they can wear them through multiple seasons.

Our pieces are designed to breathe and move along with your child as they play. With this in mind, we use a stretchy composition of 95% cotton or cotton fleece and 5% elastane for items with more of a snug fit. Pieces made with linen, waffle, muslin or corduroy have less stretch and are designed to have a more relaxed fit. Our Lightweight Jacket is made with organic cotton twill.

For knitted items, our cardigans and jumpers are made with 100% organic cotton yarn and our socks and tights are an 80% organic cotton, 15% polyamide, 5% elastane blend to provide the most practical comfort and durability for your child.

What are the best methods of wash and care?

Every fabric has its own care and wash instructions that will help to keep your garment in top condition. Our advice: Spot clean when you can and avoid overwashing, as this can help the natural fibers maintain their strength for years to come and reduce water usage. Orders, shipping, and delivery
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, along with PayPal and Klarna.
How does Klarna’s buy now, pay later option work?

You can safely use Klarna to pay over time in either 30 days or in three interest-free installments.

Simply select Klarna at check out, and you’ll be redirected to Klarna’s platform where you can choose your payment options. You’ll enter your mobile phone number, email address, current billing address, and a debit or credit card.

The payment for each installment will automatically be collected from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout.

If you select to pay in three installments, your first payment is taken when the order is confirmed. The second and third installments are collected at 30 and 60 days, respectively. All Klarna communications will be sent to your email address.

You can monitor your payment schedule, make changes, or pay in full using the Klarna app or logging into klarna.com.

Am I eligible for Klarna?

Currently, only customers in the US are eligible to use Klarna at checkout. You must be at least 18 and with a purchase of $35-1,000. Your eligibility is subject to your financial circumstances, product availability, and previous order history. All orders are assessed individually.

Klarna may run soft credit searches that do not affect your credit score and are only visible to you and Klarna. Neither Klarna nor The Simple Folk run credit searches against you that could impact your credit rating.

If you are denied eligibility, it does not mean you will be denied for all future orders.

We ship orders to Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, South Korea and the United States.

Returns & exchanges
Can I cancel my order?

The good news is that we ship out orders quickly. However, this also means we can't always guarantee that we can change/cancel an order before it ships.

Please review your order carefully, and be sure to get in touch right away using our customer care form if you have a need to cancel or change your order. A member of our team will be happy to assist you.

What happens if I cancel or return my order using Klarna?

As soon as we have accepted your cancellation/return, Klarna will cancel any scheduled payments as well as refund any amounts due. The return will be reflected in the Klarna app or on klarna.com immediately.

Do you accept returns and exchanges?
If you wish to return or exchange an item for any reason, please visit our returns page within 30 days of delivery and we will be happy to help you with the process.
What happens to my Klarna statements when I’ve made a return?

Once we have received your return, an adjusted payment schedule will be sent to you by Klarna. We will refund any payments collected and cancel any future scheduled payments as needed for partial or full returns. Please get in touch with our customer care team if you have any additional questions

How will I be refunded?

Once we've reviewed and approved your refund, it will be credited within 14 days through the payment method used during checkout.
