I’m 5’2” and 140 lbs, and I ordered a size 8. I chose The Simple Folk because I was looking for a sustainable, slow-fashion brand that creates timeless pieces, and they delivered on that promise with these jeans. However, I’m giving one star because the size 8 is much too big in the waist and a few inches too loose in the hips. After trying them on, I believe a size 4 might fit me best. In my opinion, these jeans are designed for everyday comfort and could be a go-to pair—if you get the right size. I’m just torn between purchasing a size 6 or a size 4, as I don’t want to end up with jeans I can’t wear again.

It can be really helpful to compare those measurements with a pair of trousers you already love in your wardrobe — that way you can see whether the size 4 or 6 might be the best fit.

Theses jeans are a wonderful color and a fun fit! The weight of the denim is perfect and they're super cute with a little cuff at the bottom! Unfortunately, my waist to hip ratio doesn't work with them. I have 39" hips and a 27" waist and ordered an 8. The hips fit perfect, but the waist is about 5" too big. :-(
Very high waist - and waist feels very small. I will have to get them fixed.
